The Peiffer Rosca securities practice attorneys are pleased to announce that they have reached a satisfactory resolution on behalf of certain clients concerning claims against a Thompson National Properties (“TNP”)-sponsored real estate investment program. The details of the settlement were confidential.
The Peiffer Rosca attorneys have filed three class actions and several FINRA arbitration proceedings on behalf of investors in a number of TNP programs such as TNP 2008 Participating Notes, Strategic Realty Trust (formerly known as TNP Strategic Retail Trust, Inc.), and TNP 6700 Santa Monica Boulevard (“TNP Kodak”). They represent clients in cases against some of the securities broker-dealer firms that sold the TNP programs to their customers, in addition to cases against other individuals and organizations.
According to media reports, the Peiffer Rosca attorneys were the first to file a class action on behalf of TNP investors. They have filed separate class actions on behalf of investors in the TNP 2008 Participating Notes, Strategic Realty Trust, and TNP Kodak programs.
The Peiffer Rosca attorneys have alleged that some of the financial service organizations and advisors who recommended or sold the aforementioned TNP programs failed in their duties to adequately investigate the TNP investments and determine the investments were suitable and/or appropriate for their customers before recommending the TNP programs to investors. They have also alleged that some of the TNP programs were offered to investors through material misrepresentations and omissions. The cases are pending.
“We will continue to vigorously prosecute the claims of our other clients who invested in Thompson National Properties-sponsored programs that were named in proceedings filed by the securities regulators against certain TNP-related individuals and entities,” said attorney Joe Peiffer of the Peiffer Rosca law firm.
Investors who believe they lost money invested in TNP programs such as TNP 2008 Participating Notes, TNP 12% Notes, Strategic Realty Trust (formerly known as TNP Strategic Retail Trust, Inc.), TNP 6700 Santa Monica Boulevard (“TNP Kodak”) or other TNP programs may contact attorneys Alan Rosca or Joe Peiffer for a free, no-obligation evaluation of their recovery options, toll free at 888-998-0520, or by filling out the contact form on this website.
